In the snow of Bridget's Day, my Saanen nanny produced 2 black kids.  We saw them new-birthed when that went I out to feed Persephone & Pan their morning hay.  My time is spent feeding goats & trying to discover where the bold babies are off to now, plus untangling their mother.  Having split up the puc & nanny from August's end until mid October, kids were expected from March onwards, not in the Springtime-Winter of an Irish February, but at least they had the Goddess of Hearth, Home, Fire & Animals to assist their birthing

Cats growl, not purr, growl.  Matriarch Cat is respected, even by hissy kitten.  All food anywhere is for the cat, unless it's grain, but muesli is definitely catfood.  Dogs are good for using as a bedwarmer, or to tease outside if you need to practise running & climbing.  DON'T try chasing chickens, especially those bigger & fluffier than you, but dead chicken is good to eat & the feathers to chase.  If a kitten, get a Spaniel to help in rat-catching.  Mice are fun toys.  Peoples go gooey over kits, but prefer cats to live outside in the cold & the wet ~ make sure you know the best hiding places INSIDE at bedtime & the most important ~ WWhen
